Dorset Arts Weeks

Dorset Arts Weeks

I’m delighted to be taking part in this year’s Dorset Art Weeks, exhibiting alongside fellow members of the The Dorset Artists Guild at the Museum of East Dorset in the heart of Wimborne Minster.

Running from Saturday 23 May to Sunday 7 June 2026, Dorset Art Weeks is one of Dorset’s best-loved celebrations of visual art. Over two inspiring weeks, artists, makers and designers across the county open their studios, host exhibitions and welcome visitors to experience a huge variety of creative work — from traditional painting and mixed media to contemporary and experimental pieces. It’s always a wonderful opportunity to explore Dorset’s thriving arts community and discover talented local artists.

As part of the festival, The Dorset Artists Guild will be presenting a special group exhibition in the Garden Room at the Museum of East Dorset, located at 23–29 High Street, Wimborne Minster. I’m very pleased to be exhibiting my work there alongside an incredibly talented group of artists including:

  • Katie Bourne
  • Cliff Towler
  • Nicole Tudor Williams
  • Susan Jeneson
  • Sue Smith
  • Sue James
  • Pauline Jackson

I’ll be sharing a collection of brand new mixed media work inspired by the rolling hills and valleys of our natural landscape — capturing the calm, movement and seasonal beauty that Dorset is so well known for. It’s a real privilege to exhibit alongside such a strong and varied group of professional artists, and I’m excited to present these latest pieces as part of the exhibition.

The venue itself is beautifully situated opposite the Minster on Wimborne High Street, making it easy to find and ideal for a day out in the town. The exhibition will be open daily from 10am–5pm throughout the event. Entry is completely free, with nearby parking available, wheelchair access, and dogs welcome too.

Visitors can expect a diverse mix of artwork including landscapes, abstracts, wildlife-inspired pieces and mixed media work, all brought together in a welcoming and inspiring setting.

If you’re visiting Dorset Art Weeks this year, I’d absolutely love for you to stop by, take a look around and say hello. It’s always wonderful to meet people who enjoy art and to chat about the inspiration and process behind the paintings.

I’m really looking forward to being part of this fantastic celebration of Dorset creativity and hope to see you there!
