Fluid Art Workshops in Dorset.

I work from my studio based in Parkstone. Close to Branksome, Parkstone and Poole Train stations.

Beginners workshops are £75 for an afternoon and usually begin at 1:30pm. We start with basic colour theory and how to choose your own colours, then mixing paint to achieve the correct consistency. Usually you will do 3 canvases, a 12 x 12″ ring pour or straight pour, a 6 x 6″ flip cup or a reverse flower dip and a 6 x 6″ swipe. Refreshments are served half way through with a chance to chat and make new friends.

I am now offering more advanced Landscape/Seascape courses in fluid art. I go into much more detail and these are tailored to individual requirements, classes are one-to-one and would last from 10:30am – 4:30pm. We have some of the UK’s most beautiful beaches. Just ten minutes drive from my studio is Sandbanks Peninsula and Poole Harbour, the largest natural harbour and a stunning location for all types of water sports fringed with unspoilt woodland and coastal walks.

Explore the historic quayside, host to visiting tall ships, fishing vessels and luxury motor yachts and with fabulous restaurants, cafes, bistros and bars, there really is something for everyone. Poole is home to some of the finest seafood in the south with restaurants boasting envious seascapes for that beautiful sunset-lit evening meal.

With so many things to do along the beautiful Jurassic Coast and only 20 minutes from the New Forest, one visit may not be enough!

PLEASE NOTE: I do not take any less than two people at a time for beginners fluid art classes. If you book a single booking and no other person books, I will contact you and re-schedule your booking to when I have another booking. It’s better to bring a friend or relative so that two or three bookings at a time are made. Fluid Art Landscape workshops are one-to-one only.
