Description

Old Harry Rocks is an iconic part of the Jurassic Coast Line here in Dorset. This view is from my local beach, ‘Old Harry’ sits right at the very end of rocks and is a beautiful walk (on a sunny day). This 120 x 50cm fluid art landscape with it’s sweeping dramatic sky, uses various techniques to create a dynamic painting. I love the various blues used in the sea including turquoise, silver and deep indigo blue, the waves crash onto the soft yellow sand with hints of gold flowing into the scrubby foreground in the bottom right hand corner. The coastline is painted with a brush using Acrylics.
