Description

When doing a larger painting I always do some tests first, to check colours, consistency of paint and composition. This is one of three paintings that were tests for my larger Sycamore Gap painting. Each one is completely unique, with the tree silhouetted against a stylised starry night and mounted into a black box frame. Metallic sapphire, coral and deep blue colours shine through a slate grey background.
