This 48 x 30 cm canvas is truly gorgeous. Based on a photograph by Ally Black, this painting uses rich golds, silvers and deep Paynes Grey. Pictures don’t often do paintings any favours, but if you could see this in the flesh the metallics really do glisten. The sky is a wonderful combination of silver clouds and golden moonlight which rest perfectly on the horizon. With glistening reflections in the deep dark water from the colours above, this flip up and swipe turned out to be a beautiful contemporary landscape painting. Who know fluid art could be so versatile!
